The son of a Hairdresser and Detective, he got his start in the industry at the age of 19 shooting model portfolios in New Zealand. That quickly led to the understanding that he had to move to Sydney, Australia- a bigger market in order to really get moving. This is where he established himself and started working as a fashion photographer. Shooting ad campaigns for ‘Oil of Olay’, Saatchi & Saatchi, and editorials for Elle magazine, Marie Claire, as well as advertising for a large swimsuit and lingerie company, Bras and Things.

Moving to London in 2002, he fast grew a client base of fashion editorial work for Elle, French Glamour, Vogue, and advertising work for high-end apartment buildings in New York, as well as Harrods London advertising and Julique- a worldwide beauty brand based in Australia. Fashion films for showStudios and numerous independent magazines lead to a placement on the roster at HSI London (film production) where he wrote and directed music videos. Jason lives in London with his wife and 3 children and very old dog ‘Beau”.
